ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Religion and Studio Art. I’ve worked on diplomacy and policy research at the U.S. Department of State, engaged in peacemaking and coalition building at The Telos Group, and met with policy-makers and experts on war, peace, and global security through Dartmouth’s War & Peace Fellows program. I care deeply about pluralism, thoughtful communication, and connecting across difference.

In my senior honors thesis at Dartmouth, I explored the intersection of Catholic moral theology, Catholic medical ethics, and U.S. conscience and abortion law. My project, titled “On Religious Grounds: The Practice of Medicine, Conscientious Objection, and Moral Compromise,” examined how Catholic doctrine has shaped and continues to shape conscience rights in American healthcare. Through analysis of theological debates, historical developments, and legal frameworks, I argue for a more pluralistic and context-sensitive approach to conscience protections. The project received the department’s top writing prize and reflects my broader interest in ethical decision-making, pluralism, and the real-world implications of religious thought.

In my coursework at Dartmouth, I enriched my understanding of religions and belief systems and found a particular passion for connecting moral and political philosophy to my experience in the contemporary world. As a writer and researcher, I thrive at the intersection of ethical theory and real-world application.
